Benefits of Membership

Membership fees are $22.50 for half a year (Jan - June) per person and $37.50 per family, payable at the start of each competition year which starts in September.

The Vienna Photographic Society is a member of PSA (Photographic Society of America).

Image Competitions

We have competitions to test our skill levels. Images may be prints or digital images. There are several different categories competition for prints and digital images. You may participate in any or all of these categories, according to your skill level

Meetings

Our program year is from September through June. During the program year, we normally meet on the 1^st, 3^rd, and 4^th Wednesdays of the month. We have a speaker on the first Wednesday, a competition on the 3^rd Wednesday, and a forum on the 4^th Wednesday. Check our calendar for the topics. Most of our meetings now are on zoom.

If you are considering becoming a member . . .

We suggest you come and visit us at one of our meetings on the first or third Wednesday of a month, except in December. We would be happy to show you what we do. 

There are three ways to become a member:

1.   Create an Account and pay with PayPal or credit card through PayPal as described below

2.   You may complete amembership applicationand bring it to one of our meetings along with a check or cash.

3.   You may complete amembership applicationand mail it to Vienna Photographic Society c/o Paige Counts, 10315 Dunfries Road, Vienna, VA 22181 with the membership dues of $45 or $65.00.

To become a member of VPS by paying online you need to take two steps as shown below.  (We suggest that you use your email address as your User ID).

You MUST complete your online payment before your membership will be activated.

·       Use the drop-down menu on the Home Page, “Organization—Dues Payments—New Members

You will not become a member instantly.  An email will be sent from PayPal to the Membership Manager and your membership will be activated at that time.
